What we collect

Only what you type into the form on this page: your name and email address, and any phone number, destination, message or details you choose to add for the kind of request you are making (local picks, a move, a business listing, an event, or a partnership).

With each request we also record the website address you sent it from (including any campaign or referral tag in that address), your browser's user-agent string, and the date and time. We use your IP address briefly to limit repeated submissions; we do not store it with your request.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal information.

How we use it

To answer your request: send local picks, follow up on a business listing or event, or talk about a partnership.

If you ask about moving here and tick the second consent box, we share your contact details and move details with a licensed local real estate agent so they can introduce themselves. We only do this with that separate consent. Agent introductions are made through a licensed real estate brokerage. The World of Do may receive a referral fee.

Where it is stored and who processes it

Requests are stored in a database on a private server we operate. The database is not reachable from the internet.

We use Resend to send ourselves a notification email for each request, and Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a request comes from a person rather than a bot. Each processes the minimum needed for that purpose under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep requests while we are working on them and for as long as needed for our records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to withdraw a consent, email hello@theworldofdo.org. We will respond within 30 days.
